Google is expanding the Help Me Write feature in the web version of Gmail, which was previously available only on smartphones. Users of the service will be able to write or edit an email using Gemini. This was reported by The Verge.
The feature is only available to Google One AI Premium subscribers or those who have Gemini for Workspace integrated. In addition to creating a draft of an email, the feature can also provide tips on how to formalize, elaborate, or shorten your message.
Google is also adding a shortcut to the polish option available in the Help Me Write toolkit. It will appear in drafts that contain more than 12 words. In the web version of Gmail, users can click on the shortcut or press Ctrl + H.
Traditionally, Google will roll out the new feature gradually over the next few weeks.
