On Monday, October 28, 2024, Netflix released an update to its iOS app that added a new feature called Moments. With this new feature, viewers will be able to save and share their favorite moments from TV shows and movies.
While watching any show from a smartphone, viewers will be able to click on the new Moments button that will appear at the bottom of the screen. The moment will then be automatically saved to the My Netflix tab, and the next show will start immediately before it.
After saving the clips, users will be able to view them later or share them on social networks such as Instagram, Facebook, and others. To do this, you will need to go to one of the saved moments and simply select the desired scene.
An update for Android with the new Moments feature will be released in the next few weeks. The feature is also planned to be expanded with additional features in the future.
