Apple continues to support its wireless headphones by releasing a new software version for them, MacRumors reports.
The firmware was released for AirPods 2, AirPods 3, AirPods Pro, and the Lightning version of AirPods Max. The system received the build number 6F21. The previous version of the software was shipped with the build number 6A326.
Unfortunately, Apple does not disclose the list of changes to the new system, but given that these are older models, it is likely that the new firmware contains bug fixes and other minor improvements.
By the way, Apple does not have the ability to update the AirPods software manually, but the firmware is usually installed on the device over the air when the AirPods are in the charging case and connected to an iPhone or Mac.
