Meta has released a new version of the WhatsApp app for iPhone users, MacRumors reports.
This is version 24.21.81 of the app. The developers have added a new widget to the messenger. You can install it on your desktop. The widget allows you to quickly access your favorite, pinned, or recent chats.
In addition, with the update, WhatsApp also gained support for zooming from 0.5x to 3x using the built-in camera, as well as the ability to mention other users in the status by pressing the @ button.
As usual, the new version of the app is being rolled out in waves. The new features will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
