As part of Xbox Partner Preview | October 2024, Finnish Remedy Entertainment announced two projects. The second addition to Alan Wake 2 - The Lake House, and a new game FBC: Firebreak, which takes place in the Control universe.
The Lake House is a mysterious Federal Bureau of Control facility on the shores of Lake Culdron, an experiment that seems to have gotten out of hand, pardon the unintentional pun. Agent Estevet has to investigate the multi-story building and find out what really happened there. It will be scary, as always.
The Lake House is coming to Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 22, 2022.
But the new Remedy game, FBC: Firebreak, will have to wait a bit longer. The three-person co-op shooter set in the Oldest Building, the headquarters of FBC, is due out on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2025. Very strange weapons, strange outfits, and very strange enemies, almost a Left 4 Dead within the Remedy Connected Universe. It looks interesting.
