Adobe has announced new AI features for its Creative Cloud products: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro. This was reported by The Verge.

A new Distraction Removal feature has been added to the Remove Tool in Photoshop. Remove Tool works similarly to Google's Magic Eraser feature on Pixel smartphones, allowing users to quickly remove unwanted objects from their images. The new feature automatically detects objects that can be removed by the user and removes them in one click.

The feature is already available in the desktop and web apps of Photoshop, with "more coming later," according to Adobe. Photoshop users can now choose whether the deletion tool uses generative AI (Adobe's Firefly) or non-generative AI. There is also an option to automatically select "based on image and scene" to get the best results.

The Generative Fill, Generative Expand, Generate Similar, and Generate Background tools are now publicly available and have been updated to the latest Firefly Image 3 model. Adobe claims that this update improves the diversity and photorealism of the results created, as well as better understanding of complex cues than the previous model.

Adobe Illustrator has a new Objects on Path feature that allows users to quickly attach, position, and move objects along any path shape. The Mockup tool for placing a design on a 3D model is also now available to all users, and the Image Trace feature, which converts raster images (JPEG, PNG, PSD, etc.) into scalable vectors, has been improved. Adobe says it now creates "sharper vectorized results with cleaner lines that more closely match the original image."
