No sooner had we explored all the roads of Arkansas in American Truck Simulator - Arkansas than SCS Software announced the next expansion of the game's map - Louisiana.
"Embark on a journey to the Pelican State nestled in the south of the U.S.. Discover the subtropical climate of the state which has provided the magnificent brooding scenery of the coastal bayous, and the lush, dank vegetation.Truckers can look forward to the beautiful and iconic landscape of this southern state, historical cities like New Orleans and Baton Rouge, miles and miles of long stretching roads, and also the Mississippi River delta that has helped shaped how the area looks today," reads the description of the update.
There are no other details yet, but most likely we will have 8-10 new cities, 20 towns, new viewpoints and attractions, new industries, etc. Given that Louisiana is the third major DLC for American Truck Simulator after Missouri and Iowa, we can estimate that this state will be released at least a year from now.
