Sony has launched the sale of refurbished PlayStation 5 consoles on its official website, which cost $100 less than new ones. Both the fully digital version and the version with a disk drive are available for purchase.
As with conventional consoles, the package will include the PlayStation 5 itself, a DualSense wireless controller, a charging cable for it, the default ASTRO's Playroom, HDMI, a power cord, and a stand.
You will have to pay $399 for a refurbished console with a disk drive installed, as opposed to $499 for a new PS5. At the same time, a fully digital refurbished console costs $349, compared to $449 for a new one.
We remind you that a month ago, in September 2024, Sony also officially unveiled an improved PlayStation 5 Pro console, which received a more powerful processor, faster memory, and a price of $699 for the version without a disk drive. In addition, the company announced a commemorative PS5 Pro for the console's 30th anniversary.
