The smartwatch brand Fitbit has announced a new initiative called Fitbit Labs. This is a program for testing new experimental features that will be available to random groups of users. This was reported by Android Aurhority.
Users who will be allowed to test new features will find the corresponding option in the "You" tab. From this tab, you can either join the program or submit a request to participate.
The first test feature is a Gemini AI-powered assistant that will provide users with personalized answers to questions about the health of the bracelet wearer. The assistant should simplify the understanding of various indicators. It will display them using charts and graphs.
In the future, Fitbit Labs will test even more features, with a focus on integrating Google's latest AI innovations. However, these Labs features will only be available temporarily, and some may require a Fitbit Premium subscription.
