The Sony WH-1000XM5, WF-1000XM5, and LinkBuds S headphones now support Google Find My Device and Auto Switch. This was reported by 9to5Google with reference to dataminer @MishaalRahman.
Find My Device allows you to find out the location of your device in case of loss. The headphones use Bluetooth to search for nearby objects and transmit their location to your account.

The update for the Buds also adds Fast Pair support over Bluetooth LE Audio.

Sony has also rebranded its headphone app from Headphones Connect to Sound Connect. The recognizable yellow headphone icon has been replaced with a more abstract one. A Material 3-style bottom bar has appeared, and the device settings have been reorganized.
The My Device tab has a simplified settings screen and shortcuts that make it easy to customize frequently used functions.
The Discover tab shows notifications of recommended features based on your device usage for further customization.
