Despite the intense competition in the global electric vehicle market, Xiaomi continues to set records. On October 1, 2024, the Chinese manufacturer announced that sales of the SU7 electric car in September 2024 exceeded 10,000 units (for the fourth month in a row).
We are talking about about 15,000 or 16,000 cars. Xiaomi does not plan to stop there and wants to exceed the 20,000 mark in October.
Since its launch in April 2024, the Xiaomi SU7 has carved out a niche in the market, competing with the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. The SU7 stands out for its affordability and innovative technology. But despite its popularity, the electric car has many problems and is involved in many accidents.
As a reminder, Xiaomi SU7 has a driving range of up to 800 km (according to the CLTC cycle). The SU7 comes with several driving modes, a Brembo braking system, and various safety assistants. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds.
