The first- and second-generation Google Pixel Watch will receive an update to Wear OS 5 along with new features that were announced with the Pixel Watch 3. This was reported by TechRadar.
In addition to fixing some bugs, the update will bring new colors for watch faces and more widgets. Developers will also be able to add various data metrics to the watch face.
The watch will also have an updated interface similar to Pixel Watch 3. There will be improved camera control, so the watch can be used as a viewfinder for the camera of a connected smartphone. Pixel Recorder will also appear on the wrist.
Google promises many quality-of-life improvements in WearOS 5, such as bug fixes and "performance updates." To update to WearOS 5, your watch must be running Wear OS 3.5 or Wear OS 4.
Traditionally for Google, the update will be rolled out gradually over time.
