Microsoft has presented PC system requirements for Fight Simulator 2024. The game will require more RAM than it will take up on the drive. This was reported by Eurogamer.

Thanks to the use of streaming data via the cloud, the installation size has been reduced to a tiny (by today's standards) 30 GB. However, Microsoft believes that you will need 64 GB of RAM, as well as 12 GB of VRAM, RTX 4080, Core i7-14700K, and a 100 Mbps internet connection to run the game in "ideal" mode.

The minimum specifications no longer seem so unattainable - 16 GB of RAM, Core i7-6800K, GTX 680, and 10 Mbps internet speed. However, all versions require Direct X version DX12 and 50 GB of free disk space.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 already promises to be quite spectacular. Moreover, the game will allow you to leave the cockpit and wander around the neighborhood.

The game is being developed by the same Asobo Studio team that developed the previous parts of the simulator. In 2023, the French developers added the An-225 Mriya aircraft to the game as a paid add-on, and all profits from its sales were donated to help the Ukrainian State Enterprise Antonov.

In addition to every airport in the world, the developers have added glider airports, every oil tower in the world, and every lighthouse in the world. This is along with "hundreds of species of animals running around".

"I think we're in a new era of making games that I think are going to break new ground, from a scale and complexity perspective," said Jorge Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S on October 19.
