YouTube is implementing artificial intelligence in YouTube Studio to help with content creation. AI will help authors to find ideas for videos and generate video sequences, The Verge reports.
There will be a new Inspiration tab, which YouTube has been testing on a limited basis over the past few months. The AI-powered tool will suggest a video concept, title, and preview. The tool will even write an outline and the first few lines of text for the video.
Once you have an inspiration, the tool will help you generate a video sequence using Veo, DeepMind's video model that is currently being integrated into YouTube Shorts. The model will be an extension of the green screen concept, creating a variety of backgrounds for the user. It can also generate a full-fledged video sequence, but it will be limited to only 6 seconds.
The videos will also have watermarks created using DeepMind's SynthID tool, as well as markings that they were generated using artificial intelligence.
The features will be rolled out gradually and will be available to all YouTube Studio users in early 2025.
Perhaps these tools will help authors create interesting and high-quality videos. However, it could also happen that YouTube will be filled with videos created, written, and even produced by artificial intelligence that look and sound exactly the same.
