Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman has revealed some details about the new Mac mini with M4 chip.
According to the leak, Apple plans to completely abandon USB-A ports in the device. For comparison, the current model with the M2 processor has two USB-C and two USB-A ports, while the M2 Pro variant has four USB-C and two USB-A ports.
According to the insider, the new Mac mini with the M4 Pro chip will have a total of five USB-C ports. Three ports will be located on the back and two on the front, similar to the Mac Studio. The computer will also have Ethernet, HDMI, and 3.5 mm ports. The power supply will obviously remain internal.
In addition to the new Mac mini, Apple is also preparing to release updated versions of the MacBook Pro and iMac. All devices are likely to debut in November.
