Hideaki Itsuno, the development director of such games as Devil May Cry 2-5 and Dragon's Dogma, announced that he was leaving Capcom. He will join a new team and start working on a new unannounced project, Engadget reports.
Itsuno has been working at Capcom since the 90s on a variety of popular games. He created one of the most fan-favorite titles, Devil May Cry 3. And his last game at Capcom, Dragon's Dogma 2, sold more than 2.5 million copies in 10 days after its release.
“I hope you will continue to support Capcom’s games and characters,” Itsuno wrote. “I hope to create fun, beautiful games that are as memorable as, or even more memorable than, the ones I have created so far. Please stay tuned for my next creation!”
