Zoom conducted a survey of its customers and found that the vast majority of respondents (83%) consider themselves significantly more productive when working in a hybrid or remote environment.

When asked how they would like to work, the majority of employees obviously choose to work completely remotely from anywhere in the world - 36%. Another 22% would like to work remotely from home, 25% prefer a hybrid flexible schedule, and 25% would prefer to work in the office. "Hybrid workers report feeling more connected to their teams and managers.

Employees were also asked about the integration of AI technologies into their work processes. 94% of respondents reported that they use AI in their work and 84% of them believe that it has increased their productivity.

The majority of respondents agreed that technologies and tools for remote work in their organizations need to be improved, and 75% believe that their current conditions are inadequate.

Zoom's results aren't particularly surprising, as studies have consistently shown that employees are happier and more productive when given the opportunity to work remotely.

Interestingly, last year, Zoom' s CEO spoke negatively about remote work at Zoom and urged employees to return to the office in a hybrid mode (at least 2 days per workweek).
