Insider @evleaks shared new details about the foldable Samsung Galaxy Fold Special Edition smartphone on social network X.
This time, @evleaks said that the new product will have a better camera than the Galaxy Fold6 - 200 MP instead of 50 MP. Most likely, it will be an ISOCELL HP9 module. By the way, Galaxy S24 Ultra also has a 200 MP camera, but with a different sensor - ISOCELL HP2.
It is also known that the Galaxy Fold Special Edition will have an 8-inch main display and an additional 6.5-inch display. In addition, the new model will boast a body that is 10.6 mm thick when folded and 4.9 mm when unfolded. For comparison, Galaxy Fold6 is 12.1 mm and 5.6 mm thick, respectively.
If everything goes according to plan, the Galaxy Fold Special Edition will be released in October 2024. The smartphone will most likely be sold only in China and Korea.
