A well-known insider bilbil-kun shared renders and revealed some details about Sony's upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro console in an article for Dealabs.
The appearance of the console will be very similar to the PlayStation 5 Slim, but the console will have three black stripes instead of one, and will probably be wider. The front panel also features 2 USB-C ports and a power button.
The insider says that the replacement boards for the Slim will be suitable for the Pro version as well. As for the version with a disk drive, nothing is known yet, but it is reported that the decision to release the device without it was motivated by the desire to reduce the cost.
The PlayStation 5 Pro will come with the same white DualSense controller as the regular and Slim versions. Sony is expected to officially unveil the console in the first half of September 2024.
