In the Good Old Games (GOG) digital store, you can pick up the dictator urban planning simulator Tropico 4 for free until 16:00 on August 29, 2024. This giveaway accompanies a large sale called Back to School.
To be honest, it's hard to combine school life and the everyday life of a tropical country's dictator in a thematic way, but it's what it is. Today, the most up-to-date version of Tropico is the sixth installment, which was released in 2019.
The fourth installment of the franchise took a sharp turn toward absurdity and satire, and received rather mixed reviews from fans.
Also, traditionally for such games, Tropico 4 has 11 paid DLCs that deepen and diversify the gameplay. Currently, they can be purchased as a bundle for $3.99.
And one more thing: the game has no official Ukrainian localization, but there is a fan-made Ukrainianizer on KULA.
