Microsoft assures that despite the end of support for Windows 10 in October 2025, the company plans to add new features to the system. One of these features will be advertising its own services in the Start menu. This was reported by Neowin.

Windows 11 has a so-called Account Manager that appears when you click on your profile icon in the Start menu. It shows the status of your Microsoft 365, Game Pass, and OneDrive subscriptions. To manage your account directly, click on the 3 dots in the corner of the window.

This feature is now coming to Windows 10. The change was spotted in the latest Windows 10 builds from the Beta and Release Preview channels. Now it is disabled by default, as the submenu with the exit and lock buttons does not work.

Microsoft hasn't made an announcement yet, but given that the change is already in the stable version of Windows 11, you can be sure that the innovation will eventually appear in Windows 10. So get ready for home tech support sessions and explaining to your relatives where the logout button has gone.
