The website of the PlayStation 4 store accidentally announced the upcoming PC release of the first part of Red Dead Redemption, which was first released on consoles back in 2010. This was reported by PC Gamer.

Rumors of a PC release of the popular western or even a remake or remaster have been circulating for a long time, but they have finally come to an end thanks to a possible PlayStation bug.

Now the announcement on the game's page has been removed, but before this mistake could be corrected, many screenshots were already taken, which read in white on black: "Experience the epic western adventures that defined a generation—now on PC for the first time ever."

Further, the game's description also said that Red Dead Redemption Game of The Year Edition will appear on PC, which includes the Undead Nightmare expansion pack in addition to the game itself.

In addition to all the improvements that were released for the console version of the game in 2023, the PC version will also receive additional improvements, including high fps, support for multiple monitors, spatial audio, and more.

However, judging by the same text published on the PlayStation website, the game will be released on PC without multiplayer support. Although, given that the PlayStation 4, on whose store's website the announcement was published, also lacks online support, this is not surprising.
