After all, Tesla has simply removed the rear-wheel drive option, meaning that you can no longer buy a Tesla Cybertruck pickup for $60 thousand. Moreover, the remaining versions of the electric vehicle immediately went up by $20 thousand! That is, currently, to buy a Tesla Cybertruck with all-wheel drive, you need to have $100 thousand, and the Cyberbeast version is estimated at $120 thousand - and this is without taking into account possible options.
Of course, such a price offer can be justified by saying that the Tesla Cybertruck pickup is currently offered in the maximum limited Foundation Series configuration. But still, the difference between promises and reality is shocking. We can only hope that Tesla will come to its senses and soon bring back affordable versions of the Tesla Cybertruck pickup. Otherwise, it risks remaining an "artificial toy for the rich" instead of becoming a new rule-maker in the American pickup truck segment.
