The design of the headphones has not changed - they still look like small "pucks" in the user's ears. At the same time, the headphones have become slightly smaller and lighter. In addition to the standard white and black colors, the accessory is available in mint and pink.
The main changes occurred inside. Pixel Buds Pro 2 received a new Google Tensor A1 chip, which is responsible for sound quality and active noise cancellation. The company claims that the chip analyzes the environment three million times per second, adjusting the ANC. In general, thanks to Tensor A1, the noise reduction level has become twice as high as in the first generation of Pixel Buds Pro.
Music playback is handled by 11mm drivers, and surround sound technology with head tracking is supported. Phone calls should be better thanks to the advanced algorithms of the Clear Calling function. By the way, you can communicate not only with your friends or colleagues, but also with Gemini artificial intelligence, which is ready to answer questions.
The declared autonomy of Pixel Buds Pro 2 is up to 8 hours with ANC, and up to 12 hours without active noise reduction. With the case, the figures are up to 30 and 48 hours, respectively. By the way, the case has a speaker, so it will be easier to find it now. The Bluetooth 5.4 module is used to connect to an audio source. Simultaneous connection to multiple devices is supported.
