Elon Musk is once again suing OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman, claiming that the company puts profits and commercial interests above the public good. This was reported by Reuters.

The businessman says that as soon as OpenAI technology began to transform generative artificial intelligence, Sam Altman "flipped the narrative and proceeded to cash in."

The new lawsuit seeks to have the court invalidate OpenAI's license to use its artificial intelligence models issued by Microsoft.

OpenAI has a licensing partnership with Microsoft, under which the tech giant is investing billions of dollars in the startup in exchange for using its extensive language models for its computing services.

As a reminder, in June 2024, Elon Musk withdrew a lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO Sam Altman. In a lawsuit filed earlier this year, the billionaire accused OpenAI of abandoning its mission to develop AI that would benefit humanity.

The businessman also accused the company of turning its partnership with Microsoft into a subsidiary aimed at increasing profits.

OpenAI later denied these claims. The tech giant emphasized the development of a safe and useful technology and shared details of its cooperation with the billionaire.
