Usually, Apple sells almost the same Apple Watch year after year, adding software updates rather than offering new devices. But this may change, as rumors of a plastic Apple Watch SE have emerged. The Verge writes about it, referring to a newsletter from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.
Apple reportedly uses plastic to make the watch "more child-friendly". The plastic case will allow for a wider color palette of the watch.
In its other products, Apple occasionally resorts to experiments to create interesting device designs, such as the iMac M3 or iPhone 12 mini.
If the watch is designed for children, you can expect many interesting color options: bright green, purple, banana yellow.
The only thing worth remembering is the SE. Overall, it's a great watch, but if you've already used the Series, you may miss some features: user health sensors, gesture control, and even faster Siri.
