Telegram has received a new update that adds a built-in browser that supports multiple tabs, a mini-app store, the ability to give users stars, and more.
The built-in browser in the messenger will now allow you to save many different tabs and switch freely between them and chats from the bottom panel.
In addition, it supports decentralized websites hosted on TON, making Web3 available to all 950 million users at once.
A new Apps tab will also appear in the Telegram search, showing both popular apps and those you've already used.
Developers will also be able to post small video demonstrations and screenshots to make it easier for users to find something new.
Among other things, the mini-apps have also received an update that will allow you to share the results immediately in Stories. For example, if one of the apps allows you to generate an image or video, you can share the result immediately.
The messenger also received several smaller, but also significant updates. Users will now be able to give each other stars, which can be used to access paid content on channels or in mini-apps.
Another update will allow you to use the flash to record video messages, and in Stories, you can now add a weather widget and choose a cover.
The messenger client for macOS will also get tabs where you can view games, apps, pages from the browser, and more.
