Samsung started shipping the first Galaxy Watch 7 last week, but despite the good reception from customers, the first problems have already appeared, and they are quite critical: the watch runs out of power too quickly. This was reported by SamMobile.
Watch owners on Korean forums and Reddit began to complain en masse that their smartwatches were losing 10% of their charge per hour, which is clearly not the standard behavior of brand-new devices.
On Samsung's official Korean forum, an employee confirmed that the company had already identified the source of the problem and was working to resolve it.
"First of all, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the use of our watches. Regarding the problem of rapid battery drain, the cause has already been identified and countermeasures have been prepared. Soon we plan to distribute software that will solve the problem," the statement said.
As you can see, the problem with the Galaxy Watch 7 battery is a software issue. So far, company representatives have not indicated when we can expect an update that will fix this problem, but they promised to release it soon.
