Meta is starting to provide access to a new AI Studio tool that will allow Instagram users to create their own AI versions. This was reported by The Verge.
The idea is for creators and business owners to use AI versions of their accounts to communicate with Instagram followers. The created profiles will be able to communicate with people in chats and respond to comments on behalf of the account owner.
Users in the US will be the first to try the new features. According to Meta, authors will be able to customize their own AI versions based on Instagram content. They will also be able to specify topics to avoid and links to share.
According to Meta's blog, AI Studio is powered by the Llama 3.1 artificial intelligence model. The company has recently unveiled it and stated that the neural model will be able to compete with the most powerful offerings from competitors such as OpenAI and Google.
