The first Apple Intelligence features have appeared on Apple devices. Beta versions for developers of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1 have just been released with support for some AI features. It was reported by Engadget.
These features will only work on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, and iPad or Mac with an M1 chip or later. Also, the language of your device must be American English for them to work. Apple developer account holders can already update their hardware software and discover new Apple Intelligence features.
New features include a tool for editing, rewriting, and summarizing text. The ability to transcribe calls or voice recordings, as well as the ability to create "Memories" among your photos.
Siri has also received its share of improvements. The assistant will better follow the conversation and understand when the user is distracted.
Not yet available: Genmoji, Image Playground, ChatGPT integration, photo cleaning, and personalized context and actions in the Siri app. These features will be added later in future beta releases.
The full release of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia is expected this fall. The full launch of Apple Intelligence features is scheduled for a few weeks later. The company decided to postpone the launch of AI features to focus on bug fixes.
