Ukrainian IT specialist Vadym Klymenko has created an interactive map of possible power outages in Kyiv. He described the process of creating it in his blog.
The specialist was inspired to create a map that would show where there is electricity in Kyiv after a discussion on the social network X.
"A couple of months ago, I was thinking about visualizing a power outage, and recently, this idea was discussed again on Twitter, and it turned out to be an interesting task, so I finally did it this weekend," Vadym Klymenko writes.
The map shows in green where there is power, and in red where there is no power. He emphasizes that the map does not show real-time data, but only refers to schedules of planned and emergency outages.
