Apple Maps has finally become available in the web version. However, at this stage, it is a beta that works with certain limitations. This was reported by Engadget.
For example, the availability of the web version of Apple Maps will depend on the region. In addition, it is currently available only in English.
Mac and iPad owners will be able to access the web version of Apple Maps from Safari and Chrome, and Windows PC users will be able to access it from Chrome and Edge.
Apple says that over time, we should expect expansion - the web version of Apple Maps will support other languages, devices, and browsers.
The web version now includes routes, guides, opening hours, reviews, and other useful information for businesses, as well as actions such as ordering food.
In the coming months, Apple will add other features, including Look Around, its own version of street view.
Apple Maps was launched in 2012. It was not an easy start for the company, and it even had to apologize to users for some inaccuracies in the program. But since then, the service has improved significantly, continuing to gain new capabilities.
