Adobe has launched a new and potentially controversial feature called Generate Image. It is based on Firefly and allows you to create images in Photoshop using text prompts. This was reported by Engadget.
As with LLMs such as Dall-E and Midjourney, the new feature can be used to create an image from scratch with just a text description.
The Engadget author tried the feature using the text "Dramatic low angle view of a steamship from the 1800s in a storm with large waves and lightning". And he got very decent results.
As you know, this feature was announced in April of this year. At the time, Adobe explained that it really speeds up image creation.
By the way, Adobe has recently amended the terms of use for its products, and it states that the company will be able to "access your content using both automated and manual methods, such as content verification."
This angered many creators, and soon it became known that Adobe was revising its terms of use again. The company emphasized that it does not use users' works to train AI.
