Judging by version 41.7.16-31 of the Google Play app, Google is working to improve the recommendation of apps and games in the store. More specifically, the company will start asking users what they are interested in. It is reported by Android Authority.
While using the store, users may be presented with a small survey with topics that they may potentially be interested in.
These surveys will be divided by games and programs and will offer different genres and areas. For example, the topics could include entertainment, business, education, photography, news, and more.
After the user selects a few topics of interest, Google Play will offer a selection of apps based on their interests. In the settings, you can also completely delete the interests selected by the user.
The new app search feature may come in handy, given that Google plans to remove many low-quality, broken, and low-functioning apps starting August 31, so it will be easier to find something new and high-quality.
