The Codename: Ocean Keeper from the Ukrainian studio RetroStyle Games, which we have already written about, has been added to Steam Early Access. The game can not only be added to the Wish List but also purchased with a 20% discount for 275 UAH.

Codename: Ocean Keeper is a kind of roguelike RPG with elements of a dual-stick shooter, strategy, and a vibe of Vampire Survivors and Dome Keeper.

The player has to explore the ocean floor and the remains of another civilization on a huge spider robot, find caves and drill tunnels in search of valuable resources and artifacts, improve their combat vehicle to survive in an aggressive environment, fight off hordes of sea monsters, earn metacurrency to customize the spider robot.

The developers, RetroStyle Games, a Kyiv-based studio, have been creating games through outsourcing for a long time, but Codename: Ocean Keeper is their first in-house project. The game is being developed on the Unity engine and is set to be released on Steamdeck, Nintendo Switch, and mobile platforms in addition to Windows PC.

Codename: Ocean Keeper has a Ukrainian localization and has been translated into 15 languages, including Russian, unfortunately. In addition, the game is sold in russia.

It is expected that Codename: Ocean Keeper will be in the Early Access for about three months. So far, the developers have followed their own plan.
