Samsung is preparing a new version of its Android shell, One UI 7. According to new rumors, the company will be inspired by Apple's recently introduced iOS 18. This was reported by Android Police.
X user Chun Bhai shared a few new details, but so far there are no screenshots to confirm the changes he mentioned.

According to him, in One UI, 7 percent of the battery charge will be displayed in the battery icon itself, as it has long been done in the Apple operating system.
Among other things, the update will feature new and more rounded icons that will be brighter thanks to a new subtle 3D effect. You can also customize shortcuts on the lock screen.
The notification center will also change. It is reported that in the update, swiping down from the right corner of the smartphone will open quick action buttons and switches, and swiping to the left will show notifications. However, as Chun Bhai noted, this will be more similar to what Xiaomi did with HyperOS, although it was inspired by iOS.
The user interface of the camera app will also change. It will become simpler, with various action icons and modes moved to the bottom. The search field in the list of programs will also be at the bottom.
