FiiO, a company that specializes in audio equipment, is presenting the most advanced CD player available. It is called FiiO DM13 and will cost $179. This was reported by TechRadar.
The player not only plays music from CDs, but also from a storage device. It supports FLAC, WAV, WMA, AAC and MP3 formats. The player has a 3.5mm and 4.4mm headphone jack, and an analog line out and digital SPDIF for connecting it to another audio system.
But it also supports Bluetooth connections with SBC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Low Latency codecs. Bad news for AirPods owners, unfortunately, AAC is not supported.
The player also has an internal battery that lasts up to 8 hours of music playback - no batteries required. There is also a desktop mode that allows for battery-free operation when powered directly from the mains.
