Microsoft Designer can generate images from text samples and has a large selection of templates. The mobile version of the program also has an editor for creating avatars.
Microsoft Designer AI can also be used for image editing, such as changing or removing backgrounds, people, or objects from images. Users are limited to 15 free uses of AI per day.
In the future, the company plans to integrate Microsoft Designer into Copilot in programs such as Word and PowerPoint.
Windows Insider program members will also have access to the program in the Photos app in Windows 11, with features such as object and background removal, auto-crop, and filters.
