HMD has officially unveiled a new HMD Skyline smartphone with a Nokia Lumia-like design, the ability to easily replace the screen yourself, and a price tag of about UAH 23,000.
The smartphone has a 6.55-inch POLED display with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
At the back, the smartphone has three cameras: a 108 megapixel main camera with autofocus and optical stabilization, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50 megapixel telephoto camera for portrait shots. The device has a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
Inside, the HMD Skyline has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of storage, and support for MicroSD up to 512 GB.
As in the case of the screen, the smartphone also received a 4600 mAh replacement battery. According to the company, this is enough for 48 hours of operation.
The device supports 33W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. It also has 5W reverse wireless charging and Qi2 certification.
Among other things, the smartphone runs on Android 14. It will receive two years of operating system updates and three years of security updates. The device also has Detox Mode, which will allow you to completely block all notifications from social networks.
The HMD Skyline will be available in Ukraine for about UAH 23,000 in black color in September in 12/256 GB configurations.
