Google is working on a new feature for Google Wallet that will allow users to store text documents in their digital wallet. Android Authority has shown how it will work.
The program will get an Everything else section, which, after users agree to the terms of use, will offer to scan text documents and allow them to edit them independently if errors or inaccuracies occurred during scanning.
Among the documents that can be stored in Google Wallet are student ID cards, car registration, passports, etc. In general, the program will be able to pull up most of the documents that are already available in Diia.
As of now, the feature is available only in the beta version of the program and it is not yet known when Google will start distributing it in a stable build. It is also not yet known whether the new feature will work with Ukrainian documents.
