The revenue of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) increased significantly in June 2024. The company announced this in a brief report, Reuters reports.
During this period, the company's revenue increased to NT$207.87 billion ($6.38 billion). This is a 33% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to the publication's estimates, TSMC's revenue in April-June increased to NT$673.51 billion ($20.67 billion) due to a surge in demand for artificial intelligence. This is 32% higher compared to the second quarter of 2023.
This is also better than the LSEG SmartEstimate based on the forecasts of 21 analysts - experts expected TSMC's revenue to reach NT$654.27 billion ($20.08 billion).
Earlier it was reported that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s May sales increased by 30% and reached NT$229.6 billion ($7.1 billion).
