Anthropic is creating Evaluate tool to evaluate and optimize development projects using artificial intelligence. The company announced this on its blog.
Developers can now use Claude 3.5 Sonnet to generate, test, and evaluate prompts using prompt engineering techniques to create better inputs and improve Claude's responses for specialized tasks.
The new tool will allow you to create test cases to test the effectiveness of various prompts right in the chatbot workspace.
Developers will be able to add new test cases from a CSV file manually or ask the chatbot to generate them automatically.
Anthropic has also added the ability to compare the results of two or more prompts. Claude will even be able to rate the quality of the answers on a 5-point scale.
Although Anthropic's tools cannot completely replace engineers, the company claims that they will help new users and save time for experienced engineers.
