Ukrainian business has joined the effort to help the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv, which was damaged by a missile attack from the Russian occupiers on the morning of July 8, 2024.
Vitaly Sedler, co-founder and CEO of the Ukrainian IT company Intellias, announced his assistance to Okhmatdyt. He wrote on his Facebook page that the company would donate UAH 1 million to the hospital.
Genesis will also provide funds, said its CEO and co-founder Volodymyr Mnoholyetnyi.
"We will donate UAH 1 million from Genesis and another UAH 1 million from me personally to cover the hospital's urgent needs. We have also launched an internal fundraiser in our ecosystem - we will donate all the money raised to Okhmadyt," Mnoholyetnyi wrote on his Facebook page.
PrivatBank and its corporate charity fund "Helping is Easy!" also decided to help the hospital's rapid recovery.
The press service of the financial institution reported that the bank is allocating UAH 3 million to purchase the necessary equipment to restore the hospital's destroyed building, as well as to purchase the necessary medicines and medical supplies.

Many companies have already joined the initiative. These include Aurora (UAH 5 million), Silpo (UAH 1 million), Varus (UAH 1 million), AWT Bavaria (UAH 10 million), A-Bank (UAH 1 million), Accordbank (UAH 1 million), and Uber (UAH 2 million).
At the same time, Netpeak Group contributed UAH 2 million, and ALLO contributed UAH 1 million. Fora also sent UAH 1 million. Grammarly, according to Oleh Horokhovsky, sent UAH 20 million. Monobank provided another UAH 5 million.
Nova Poshta also decided to help the children's hospital. On the X platform, the company announced that UAH 1 million from it "is already on its way to the Okhmatdyt account.
However, people who care are not only helping with money. Ukrzaliznytsia has stated that it will shelter and transport all those in such urgent need.
