Kingpin: Reloaded, an updated version of the classic 1999 shooter. Kingpin: Life of Crime, developed on the Quake II engine, will be released on Steam on December 5, 2023.
The original game was developed by Xatrix Entertainment (Redneck Rampage, Kingpin: Life of Crime, Return to Castle Wolfenstein) and published by Interplay Entertainment. The updated version is made by the Danish Slipgate Ironworks and published by 3D Realms, which, by the way, has also been a Danish company since 2014 and has been owned by the Embracer Group since 2021.
Kingpin: Reloaded, which already has a page on Steam, will get support for ultra-wide monitors and 4K; the ability to switch between enhanced and classic modes; a new quest system; and some gameplay rebalancing.
In addition to the release on Steam, a boxed version of the game is planned for release on Xbox One/Series S|X, PlayStation 4/5, and Nintendo Switch.
P.S. Tell me honestly, did you see any differences between the versions in the trailer?
