The Witcher's Twitter account has announced that CD Projekt Red is working on an official mod editor for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It will be free and will be released sometime in 2024.

In fact, mods for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have been around for a long time, but they need to be installed manually or with the help of third-party software. CD Projekt Red's announcement is primarily about official support and the ability to create mods using official tools.
As a reminder, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received the Next Gen update and is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in late 2022.
