The Threads social network is gradually evolving. This time, the platform has added the ability to conduct polls and send GIFs. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, showed the new options, writes The Verge.
In addition, the option includes a timer that shows the time until the survey is completed. To see the results, you need to take part in the poll. After that, Threads will send a notification about the time when it ends.
When it comes to sending GIFs, Threads has a special GIF icon for searching for files directly from Giphy. Here you can choose trending options or find a specific file.
According to Mark Zuckerberg's estimates, the service currently has just under 100 million active users per month. However, Meta expects to turn it into a "public conversation app for a billion people" that will be "more positive" than some competitors.
