At Lenovo Tech World 2023, Lexi Valasek from Motorola Innovation Research demonstrated a new version of the smartphone concept with a flexible OLED display. The device can bend backwards, allowing it to be worn as a bracelet.
This 2023 version of the concept looks more advanced than its 2016 predecessor. The previous model could only transform into a bracelet mode, while the new prototype offers more configurations.
The device now has an orange cloth base and appears to be attached to a metal square, possibly magnetic, on the wrist to provide stability.
Valasek demonstrated some of the smartphone's features, including the ability to create wallpapers on the device. However, she spent only a short time discussing its capabilities, which indicates that the product is still at the experimental stage.
