It looks like Google is preparing a new feature for their At a Glance widget that is available on Pixel smartphones. A new Ridesharing option has appeared in the settings, which shows the status of your ride in the Uber or Lyft services on the main screen of the device.
The update was first mentioned last July, shortly after Apple announced Live Activities in iOS 16.
At a Glance can also notify you about the delivery of goods, warn about the danger of earthquakes, remind you about calendar events, provide information about your upcoming flight and more.
It's possible that new options for the At a Glance widget will appear in the next Pixel Drop update package, along with the video recorder feature that we recently talked about.
