ASUS has introduced in Ukraine the ROG Flow X16 laptop, the third and most powerful model in the ROG Flow line today. The laptop received an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU, with a thickness of only 19.4 mm.
Despite the thin and light formfactor, in ROG Flow X16 up to 64 gigabytes of RAM can be installed, with both SO-DIMM slots located in easily accessible locations, so the laptop can be upgraded in the future. In addition, it is equipped with a solid-state drive up to 2 TB and offers another free M.2 slot to install an additional drive. The ROG FLOW X16 can be used as a classic laptop, as well as fully opened 360°, turning it into a gaming tablet with a touch screen. Another feature of the model is the support of the external video cards of the XG Mobile family. These compact devices contain "laptop" variants of the most productive AMD and NVIDIA GPUs and are portable enough to make them easy to carry in a backpack.
ROG Flow X16 has been certified by ROG Nebula - which means that the 16-inch laptop display reproduces 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, has a brightness of at least 500 cd/m2, as well as a response time of no more than 3 milliseconds. The Flow X16 display meets all these criteria: it has a resolution of QHD (2560x1600 pixels), a 16:10 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 500 cd/m2.
The ROG Flow X16 cooling system combines a liquid-metal thermal Grizzly thermal interface for CPU and a new Frost Force technology, which includes two fans that direct the air flow straight to important components, and an additional fan that rejects the hot air from the GPU to Pulsar radiator located along the entire back of the laptop. The edges of this radiator have a thickness of only 0.1 mm, so that the total heat dissipation area is as much as 110 902 mm². ASUS ROG Flow X16 together with XG Mobile is already available in Ukraine at the recommended price of 159 999 UAH.
