In the fourth season of Stranger Things, the old 80s hit Running Up That Hill by the famous British singer Kate Bush is used. Nothing surprising for a series inspired by this period of the 20th century. The strangest thing is that this track, it turns out, is now super popular with the modern generation - after the release of the Running Up That Hill series, it returned to the charts for the first time in almost 40 years, and how!

Kate Bush herself in an interview with BBC Radio 4 confessed that she was a fan of the show long before the Duffer Brothers unexpectedly approached her about using her song on their show, and that she thinks it's really great that a whole new generation of listeners who didn't know about her work can get to know it.

In addition, Kate Bush has another reason to be pleased with the unexpected success of her 1985 hit. According to estimates from the independent analytical company Luminate, in June the singer could earn about $2.3 million in royalties for streaming the track on streaming services.

Well, as a long-time fan of Kate Bush, I am very pleased to see such "hype". I hope it will lead to the new generation enjoying the creativity of this original singer.
